About Luca Volpato

I’m a designer based in Padua, Italy. Photography is my way of exploring the world beyond my everyday work. I tell stories about the places I visit through light, atmosphere and ordinary moments.

I shoot with a Fujifilm X-T30 II, using a 35mm f/2 and a 55–200mm f/3.5–4.8. All photographs are JPEGs straight out of camera, with no post-processing.

Most of them are shot using a Portra 160-inspired film simulation, which is also why a roll of Portra 160 appears on the homepage. From time to time, I shoot in black and white using a film simulation I created myself.

Some frames may be slightly tilted or imperfect. I like the idea of sharing photographs exactly as they were captured—without correcting them once the shutter has been pressed.
